Scope of the Journal
The Nigerian Journal of Scientific Research is an Ahmadu Bello University sponsored Peer Review Journal. The Journal publishes original research papers, review articles, conference reports, synopsis of doctoral thesis, short research reports (highlighting important research findings), and book review in all areas of Pure and Applied Sciences.
Prospective authors are advised to consult the journal’s “Guide to Authors”
Preamble
The NJSR and its copyright shall be owned by the university
The NJSR shall be operated as a not-for-profit outfit
The Editorial Board of the NJSR shall receive, review and consider articles in Science and Applied Sciences for publication in the journal.
Vision
To be a widely circulated/subscribed and reputable multi-disciplinary journal of Science.
Our Mission
To disseminate scientifically sound information from Pure and Applied Sciences.
Specific Objectives
To provide an affordable medium for scientists to publish the results of their research works in pure and applied sciences.
To stimulate and facilitate debate among scientists, on contentious and topical scientific issues of the moment.
The Editorial Board
The Editorial Board shall be the Central-Working-Committee of the NJSR.
The Editorial Board shall manage the NJSR by making decisions and taking actions to ensure that the journal:
Is timely published
Maintains a quality of international standard
Remains a sustainable periodical
Membership shall be drawn from among lecturers of the rank Senior Lecturer and above in the five faculties of the university i.e. Agriculture, Human Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Science and Veterinary Medicine, Ahmadu Bello University, after consultation by the Editor-in-Chief with Deans of Faculties.
